Digital Online Marketing Coordinator.

Do you love Online and Digital Marketing? Are you looking to develop and grow your Digital Marketing skills? Perhaps you're a recent Marketing Graduate looking to apply your skills? Or youre looking for a role with a wider scope across digital channels and brand management?

We are looking to increase our online marketing significantly. This includes updating our Branding, Website and Content. We are also looking to significantly improve our SEO and online rankings too.

This is a varied and exciting role with activities ranging from implmenting and improving several Wordpress websites, developing and producing great content, using and improving your SEO and Organic search skills, through to managing, updating and growing our social media presence.

This role also includes some Lead Management and Enquiry response Management. You'll also be able to develop Management skills, by managing external resources such as designers and subcontractors.


This job will appeal strongly if you are creative, organised and you enjoy working with multiple aspects of digital Marketing, including:

  • Content Planning, Writing and Assembly.
  • Content Coordination and SEO Optimisation and Management.
  • Social Media Coordination and Management.
  • WordPress Website Management. (Site, Content, Organisation and Leads).
  • Google Analytics, including implementating and using GA4.
  • Lead Generation, Coordination and Management.
  • Implementation of our updated Branding, Logo, Look and Feel.
  • Coordinating and updating our marketing materials.
  • Coordination and migration of our websites to Wordpress
  • Liason and Mangagement of external designers and suppliers


This role is quite wide ranging, so you do not need to be expert in all these areas, but you should have a good grasp of Marketing, including core marketing concepts online / digital marketing and are keen to learnt to improve your skills and knowledge.

Our ideal candidate will have strong creative and language skills, to help with creating great quality content and marketing material. A good eye for design will be needed, to help you coordinate, steer and implement our brand. You'll also have strong organisation skills to manage Material, Graphics, Resources and external Contractors, such as graphic designers, external web developers and other contractors.

Job Title: Digital Online Marketing Coordinator.

Location: Ruddington, Nottingham

Type: Initially Office Based Monday - Friday. Hours: 8.45am-5.15pm, with some flexibility. This role has the potential of partial working from home, once you're up to speed. Part time also considered.

Format: Full Time Experienced, Permanent Position. Part Time considered.

Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 (or Prorata if part time)

Important:

To be considered for this role, you will have at least 2 years of direct relevant Online and Digital B2B marketing experience, and / or a Marketing related Degree, with modules taken in Digital or Internet Marketing.

You will have good skills in creating and managing content and using and managing Wordpress.
An understanding on how to create content in a style that fits our Brand, Look, Feel and Culture will be important.
You'll have a good understanding of SEO concepts, in relation to content creation, with a focus on being found, as well as genereating leads and online engagement. A good understanding of how to manage a Brand online will be advantageous.

The role has some flexibility though. We do not expect someone to be an expert in every area mentioned. Therefore a strong willingness to learn and grow your skills and responsibilities, will be important.

This is an exciting and evolving role, working closely with the Managing Director to create, develop and enhance the Marketing capability and activity in the business.

The role will be mainly focused on online digital marketing. However, other Marketing areas such as Marketing Materials creation, Branding, Lead Management and Marketing administration will be important parts of the role too.

This role is mainly office based. Whilst some home working may be an option later, we are looking for people who would love to be part of a team and enjoy time in the office. Some Supplier, Contractor, Prospect and Customer meetings and liaison are likly.

As part of a small but growing Company, you will also be an important person helping to contribute towards delivering great Customer experiences and Relationships as well as helping in the office generally.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and Write quality content in various formats, for website and social media, optimised for SEO.
  • Help create, collate or commission Images, Diagrams and other visual design resources to enhance content, impact and engagement.
  • Migrate our current websites to Wordpress and then manage, run, develop and post content to increase site visitor volumes, engagement and Leads.
  • Use Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console and other tools to improve SEO and content placement.
  • Manage and maintain a Marketing calender and coordinate content campaigns.
  • Create content for and manage our Social Media channels.
  • Increase numbers of Leads/Enquiries, through being found via Organic Search, Content, SEO and Social Media.
  • Manage initial engagement and response to leads. Qualify, respond and coordinate responses. Arrange meetings for the team to follow up enquiries.
  • Track, coordinate and followup between Prospects and internal team members.
  • Assist and contribute in preparing material that helps Marketing and Sales efforts, such as Presentations, Quotations, Proposals and Product/Service marketing material.
  • Coordinate external designers and subcontractors where extra resources are needed to create more specialist content types.
  • Work as part of the team, supporting and working with other functions, helping to contribute to great customer service, experience, account management and account retention/growth.
  • Progress towards reviewing and managing a marketing budget, spend and ROI, and assessing where marketing spend is best allocated.
  • Manage, maintain, coordinate and deploy our brand consistently in all areas.
  • Explore and widen your marketing skills to increase marketing outcomes for the Company.

Requirements

  • 2 Years of relevant online / digital marketing experience and / or a Marketing related Degree with modules in digital and online marketing.
  • Friendly, Personable and comfortable working in a small team and autonomously. Presentable and articulate.
  • Creative, literate and good language skills. Ability to understand and resonate with people.
  • Organised. Effective project management skills. Comfortable in liaising with other Teams, Suppliers and Contractors.
  • Sound understanding of Marketing principles, Digital and Online marketing, importance of content and customer service experience.
  • Great copy writing skills. An ability to communicate IT and technical ideas to non IT literate people. Whilst we are a Technical IT Services Company, we talk to our customers in clear English.
  • High computer literacy. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills, including diary management and task scheduling and planning.
  • Desire to learn and develop your skills and widen your knowlege
